Cookie Policy
Last updated: 14 October 2026
This policy explains how Demaai AB ("Dema", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website, www.dema.ai. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally. The authenticated Dema platform at app.dema.ai uses technologies that are integral to providing, securing, supporting and improving the service. Those platform technologies are described in our Privacy Policy and are not controlled by the marketing website's Cookie settings.
What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let the website, or a third party, recognise your browser when you return. Cookies set by the website you are visiting are first-party cookies; cookies set by another company are third-party cookies. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser, while persistent cookies stay until they expire or you delete them.
Similar technologies include pixels and tags, small pieces of code that send information about your visit to a provider, and local storage in your browser. We also use server-side tagging, where measurement data is first sent to a server we control and then forwarded to providers (see below).
In this policy, "cookies" covers all of these technologies.
Cookie settings
Our marketing website provides Cookie settings, supported by our consent-management provider Cookiehub, where you can review available categories and make or change your choices.
- Necessary cookies support core website functions and remember privacy choices.
- Analytics technologies help us understand website use and performance.
- Marketing technologies help us measure campaigns and advertising.
You can open "Cookie settings" from the website footer. The settings panel is the current source for cookie and provider names, purposes and durations. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings.
Cookies we use
Necessary
These cookies and storage technologies support functions such as remembering privacy choices, security and basic website operation.
Analytics
We use analytics technologies to understand visits, navigation and website performance. Providers may include Dema's own analytics, Google Analytics, and hosting performance tools.
Marketing
We use marketing technologies to measure campaigns, understand which businesses may be interested in Dema, connect form submissions with sales follow-up and, where applicable, support relevant advertising. Providers may include Google, Meta, LinkedIn, HubSpot and Albacross.
We may use these technologies for onsite targeting and retargeting. This means that we may tailor content on our website based on earlier activity, measure advertising conversions, or show Dema advertising after you leave our website. We do this only subject to applicable law and your choices in Cookie settings.
Providers and technologies can change. Cookie settings shows the current list and available choices.
Server-side tagging
Measurement data from our website may be sent first to an endpoint on our own domain, webtr.dema.ai, and then forwarded to analytics or advertising providers. Stape hosts this endpoint for us as a service provider. Server-side tagging can be used to measure actions such as form submissions and demo bookings, subject to applicable law and the choices made available in Cookie settings.
To support advertising measurement, we use a first-party cookie named dema_uid. It contains a randomly generated identifier and no name, email address or other information you give us. It helps permitted marketing cookies retain their intended lifetime where browsers would otherwise shorten it. We set it only after you accept marketing cookies and remove it if you withdraw that consent or send an applicable Global Privacy Control signal. Its current duration is available in Cookie settings.
Dema's own tracking
We use Dema's tracking technology on our website to measure visits and interactions. With analytics consent, we set a first-party, server-managed cookie named dema_tid. It contains a randomly generated identifier and lets us recognise visits from the same browser over time. Consented events may include page and campaign information, IP address and browser details and, when you submit a lead form or book a meeting, the email address you provide as a customer identifier. We remove dema_tid if you withdraw analytics consent. Its current duration is available in Cookie settings.
Third-party providers
Subject to your choices and applicable law, the following providers may receive information through cookies, pixels, tags or server-side measurement:
- LinkedIn: Privacy Policy
- Meta: Privacy Policy
- Google: Privacy Policy
- HubSpot: Privacy Policy
- Albacross: Privacy Policy
Cookie settings is the current source for the providers and technologies active on this website.
Measurement without cookies
Some measurement on our website does not store anything in your browser:
- Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, from our hosting provider Vercel, measure page views and website performance without placing cookies.
- Dema's limited cookieless measurement may operate without analytics consent. It uses the IP address and user agent to generate a keyed pseudonymous identifier that changes each day, then sends that identifier with page and campaign information and country. Lead submissions and demo bookings may also be recorded as conversion events using the form location and, for a booking, a derived booking identifier, currency and proxy conversion value. These events do not contain the email address, raw IP address or user agent, no identifier is stored in the browser, and visits are not linked across days.
We use these tools based on our legitimate interest in understanding website use and performance while minimising the data involved, subject to applicable law.
Information for US residents
Under some US state privacy laws, our use of advertising cookies and pixels may count as "selling" or "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. You can opt out by turning off marketing cookies in "Cookie settings". See section 8 of our Privacy Policy for more.
We recognise the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a request to opt out of selling, sharing and targeted advertising where applicable. Cookiehub detects the signal automatically and records the sale-and-sharing opt-out. While GPC is active, we make sure that a stored Cookiehub choice cannot override it, turn off the Marketing category and do not create or retain the server-side marketing identifier used for advertising-cookie restoration.
GPC does not by itself disable necessary technologies or first-party measurement that is not used for selling, sharing or targeted advertising. Dema's limited cookieless measurement and Vercel's cookieless measurement may therefore continue as described above. You can separately turn off cookie-based analytics in "Cookie settings". If you later stop sending GPC, we do not silently change the sale-and-sharing opt-out stored by Cookiehub; you can review or change your choices in "Cookie settings".
Because there is no common standard for "Do Not Track" signals, we do not respond to them.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may stop parts of the website from working.
You can opt out of Google Analytics on all websites with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and manage interest-based advertising from many providers at Your Online Choices (EU), Your Online Choices UK and the Digital Advertising Alliance (US).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our use of cookies or similar technologies changes.
